Dear colleagues
The date of the physical meeting is getting closer. We are therefore busy preparing for the agenda and programme. The focus will be on close cooperation and informal knowledge exchange. We thereby suggest to discuss various priority topics whereby we will be using relevant case studies. You are expected to prepare for the topics and questions, which will be listed in the programme. We want to make it a lively meeting with lots of interaction among the participants.
If you have not yet registered, you can still do so at internationalaffairs@niwo.nl. You can use this same address if you have any further questions.

Possible visit by boat to the Canals of The Hague
Due to the success of last year, we are considering planning a Friday afternoon programme again that includes a sightseeing tour by boat on the canals of The Hague.
To find out whether there is sufficient interest, we would like to ask you whether you would appreciate this and whether you would be able to attend. Please let us know about your possible attendance by the end of September.
Provisional Agenda
The upcoming event is the follow-up of our previous meetings held in 2024 and 2025. The focus of this meeting is our ongoing cooperation, between member states and stakeholders, as elaborated in EU Regulation (EC)1071/2009. As was stated at Council level, a better organised administrative cooperation between Member States would improve the effectiveness of the monitoring of undertakings operating in several Member States.
This year we would like to divide the topics and our discussion into several themes;
Theme: Safety and resilience
- ERRU
- Military Mobility
Theme: Social Affairs
- Posting of drivers, driver shortages and ELA tool
- Passenger Transport
Theme: Digitalisation
- eFTI
- Road permits
- Community licences
Theme: Sustainability
- Alternative fuels
- Weights and dimensions
- Electric vehicles
Theme: Administrative cooperation
If you would like to propose another, additional topic, please let us know by 1 September via internationalaffairs@niwo.nl
